Bilingual Story Time

Tanya of First 5 Mendocino sharing her skills at Club de la Lengua’s Bilingual Story and Craft Time.

Fort Bragg Branch Library, along with First 5 Mendocino, is pleased to announce our new Bilingual Story Time! Every 1st Saturday, 10:30 am, join Tanya from First 5 Mendocino as she conducts Bilingual Story Time for kids of all ages.

Bilingual Story Time promotes early language learning and social interaction among children with the main focus on exposing children to the library, to reading and to other languages and cultures within their own community. All children can benefit from the activities at Bilingual Story Time. For example, stories and songs teach English-speaking children basic Spanish words pertaining to colors, numbers, etc while Spanish-speakers get to interact and socialize with their peers.

We hope you’ll join us for Bilingual Story Time every   1st Saturday of the month.
