Library Catalog Services

There are two catalog search services:

The collections of Mendocino, Sonoma, and Lake County libraries have been combined into a single online catalog that can be searched.

The collections held by other libraries of the North bay Cooperative Library System can be searched by Super Search.

Note:  This online catalog does NOT list Mendocino County libraries first.

Any item in any branch in the three counties can be searched, selected, and brought to your local branch library for you.  You may have most items brought to the branch closest to you by placing a hold on them. Once you've chosen an item follow the instructions to place the hold. Look for the location closest to you near the bottom of the list.

Using Super Search is a way to order books from libraries outside the Sonoma / Mendocino / Lake system. It is important to check that online catalog first before ordering from Super Search. There may be additional fees for loans from some libraries. The check out period is set by the lending library and may not be as long as you are used to.  Fines are charged at the lending library's rate.
