Jr. Giants Youth Baseball

Jr. Giants

MCRPD District Recreation Specialist, Natalie Cottrell, will be visiting Fort Bragg Library this spring to coordinate sign-ups for the Jr. Giants baseball program.  The Jr. Giants Program is sponsored and funded by the Giants Community Fund, a non-profit affiliation of the SF Giants organization and is open to youth 5-18 years old.  Jr. Giants is a free, non-competitive program that encourages family participation and teaches team and community mindfulness.

Two teams will be offered for the coast.  One will be practicing and playing at Friendship Park in Mendocino, the other will be further south at a location TBD.  All equipment and supplies are provided by the Jr. Giants program.

To encourage parent participation, practices will be held after 5:30 pm one day each week and all games will be on the weekends.  The summer session begins June 5 and runs through Aug 15.

Natalie will be at the library for Jr. Giants registrations on the following dates:

Weds April 8  4-6 pm
