Library collections, statistics, and staff

Collections:

   The library has:

• 37,000 books, videos, and audio books.
• Special history collections of Fort Bragg, the Mendocino coast, and Mendocino county.
• A genealogy reference room with book and CD-ROM resources.

Some statistics:

    Average monthly circulation, 12,000
    Registered borrowers, 7,000
    Average monthly Volunteer hours, 450

Volunteers

          A corps of 52 volunteers provides support to the library. Many of these are serving as members of  the federal Retired Senior Volunteer Program or the Friends of the Fort Bragg Library.

Library affiliations:

InfoPeople Project, a statewide project to enable public access to the Internet.
North Bay Cooperative Library System, an organization serving thirty-four library jurisdictions in seven Northern California counties: Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, San Francisco, Solano, and Sonoma.
